It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen C. Mathews (Phelps, New York), born in Seneca Falls, New York, who passed away on January 19, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Mathews and Elsie Mathews (Keene); and her siblings, Alice Clayton and John Mathews. She is survived by: her niece Amy Gay (Tim Cambell) of Geneva Melodie; her sister-in-law Carol Mathews; and her great-niece Amber Chilson.
She enjoyed attending the day program with Finger Lakes Developmental Disability (DDSO) in Canandaigua for over 15 years, prior to the COVID 19 shutdown and affectionately referred to this as her "school".
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial donations be made to support the Ontario County ARC Recreation Department activities 3071 County Complex Dr, Canandaigua, NY 14424.
