Irene Copper Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Copper (Phelps, New York), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on February 2, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Pugh and Louella Duhl Pugh; her daughter Louise; her granddaughter Catherine; and her siblings, Arthur "Buddy", Marcella and Betty.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Copper; her daughters, Rose Copper-Brown (Tom) of Clifton Springs, Pennie Daunce (Dale) of Clifton Springs and Cate Ertle of Germany; her son-in-law Ray Heusler of Phelps; and her sister-in-law Nellie Pugh. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
It is requested that memorial contributions be made to the United Church of Phelps 58 Main Street Phelps or the Phelps American Legion Ladies Auxiliary 1346 Rt 96 Phelps, NY 14532.
