He was predeceased by: his parent Fred Kirkwood; and his wife Linda Kirkwood. He is survived by: his parent Fern Zonneville Kirkwood; his children, Todd Kirkwood (Christine) and Matt Meath (Tanya) of Phelps Kim; his grandchildren, Amanda Kirkwood, Samantha Reed, Michael Reed, Alaina Meath and Emily Meath; his brother Dale Kirkwood (Susan) of Bloomfield Phil; and his brother-in-law Kathy Peake (Carl) of Phelps.
It is requested that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to Midlakes Athletics C/O Athletic Director John Lombardi 1554 Rt. 488 Clifton Springs, NY 14432.
