He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis L. Hodges and Goldie Mae Hodges; and his siblings, Otis L. Hodges, Jr. and Etta Lemere. He is survived by: his wife Alice J. Hodges; his child Besides (Byron); his grandchildren, Philip Hodges (Laurie) of Petersburgh, NY, Stephen Hodges (Sharon) of Petersburgh, NY and Barbara Joyce (Ray) of Rhinebeck, NY; and his great grandchildren, Ariel Gilbert, Tabitha Lajeunesse, Katie Dastoli, Amanda Reding, Paul Hodges, Colleen Dorval and Richard Johnson II. He is also survived by great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Petersburgh Rescue Ambulance Squad.
