James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James D. Durand and Margaret H. Durand (Langlais); and his sisters, Joan Rocheleau and Danise Durand. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Durand (Brock); his son James E. Durand (Candice Ann); his grandson James E. Durand; his brother Steven Durand; and his parents-in-law, Earl Brock and Lenore Humphrey. He is also survived by several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thomas M. Barber Funeral Home (66 Armsby Rd, Petersburgh, NY 12138). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of customary remembrances donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated in honor of James G. Durand.
