She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmond Timmons and Rita Timmons (Provost); her husband George Arnold Howard; her brothers, Robert Timmons and Herbert "Bud" Provost; and her son-in-law Desmond Vaughn.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Loretta Timmons; her children, Debbie Baughn, James Shortell (Cindy) and Colleen Mashtare (Steve); her stepsons, Robin Howard (Sue) and Roger Howard; her grandchildren, Mechelle Bair (Kevin), Christopher Mashtare (Britney), Bryan Shortell (Shelby) and Alicia Shortell; and her stepgrandchildren, Austin Howard, Daniella Delong, Constance Greenwell and Cassidy Howard. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
