She is survived by: her husband Owen Patrick "Owney" Thornton; her children, Patrick Thornton (Karen) and Julie Foster (Richard "Foggy"); her grandchildren, Shamus Foster (Maura Trombley) and SaraJo Mattison (Wayne); her great grandchild Owen Paul Madison; her brother Rick Akey (Diane); and her brother-in-law Donald Thornton.
