He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Gilbert and Gladys Burl; his wife Patricia Ann Hastings; his mother Pearl Burl; and his siblings, Ernest, Arthur, Norman, Uyless, Donald, Maude Daniels and Shirley Sipos.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Shea (Scott Farquharson) of Plattsburgh, Robert A. Shea Jr. of Peru and Megan Shea (Alan McKay) of Valatie; his grandchildren, Jared Seymour (Randi Tella) of Saranac, Matthew (Renée Seymour), Emma McKay of Valatie, Cooper and Hunter Seymour of Holly Springs, N. C.; his sister-in-law Marilyn Becker of Chalfont; and also, Avery, Thea and Charlee Seymour of Saranac. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
