It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Russo of Peru, New York, born in Saint Albans, Vermont, who passed away on August 7, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Francis and Marie Mederese Morin (LaDoucera); her husband Rocco Russo; and her sisters, Cecile, Florence, Bertha, Georgette, Christina, Noella and Mary (Stella).
She is survived by: her children, Rocco Russo (Kim), Larry Russo, Jerry Russo (Nancy), Chris Fraysier (Mike), Gary Russo (Teri Walters), Steve Russo (Marianne Boudreau) and Stella Mathis (Bob); her grandchildren, Derek Russo (Anastasia Olsen), Carly Fraysier, Dan Fraysier and Anthony Russo; and her nephew Eugene Orsino. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Animal Rescue and Welfare Service, P. O. Box 2341, Plattsburgh, NY 12901 or masses may be said in her memory.
