He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor "Ellie" Durgan; his parents, Harry Durgan and Ethel Durgan (Lewis); his brother Robert "Bob" Durgan; and his sons-in-law, William Patrick Corrigan, III and John Lawrence McTiernan.
He is survived by: his former wife Eleanor T. "Ellie" Boudrieau; his sister Maude Durgan Hoke of Wells; his children, Pamela (James Russell) of Massachusetts, Wanda Wallace of Albany, Mary (Dexter Clemons) of Peru, Kathleen Corrigan-Dumas (Barron) of Malone, Deborah McTiernan of Ipswich, Massachusetts and James (Darlene Durgan) of West Chazy; and his friend Shirley Bell of Plattsburgh. He is also survived by his six children, fifteen grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren, along with his many nieces and nephews.
Donations in Jim's memory may be made to St. Augustine's Church in Peru and the North Country Honor Flight.
