She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Rathbun and Elizabeth Rathbun (LaFountain); her former husband Donald Shappy; her husband Gervis Macey; and her children, Tammy, Norman and Penny Shappy.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Shappy, Donald Shappy, Shari Shappy, Rocky A. II, Tami Wood (Dashnaw), Dezerea Dashnaw, Makayla Wood, Meagan Miller, Jonathan, Jacob Shappy and Larry Macey Jr.; her granddaughters, Rebekah and Iris Macey; and her child Michaela Lemieux.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory of Helen Macey may be made to the American Heart Association.
