We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2021, at the age of 89, Gilbert J. Spooner (Peru, New York), born in Keeseville, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Spooner and Nora Spooner (Vassar); and his brothers, Earnest Spooner, George Spooner and Francis Spooner.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Spooner (Ano); and his children, Tammy Fosbrook (Glenn), Julie Martin and Jamie Spooner (Lynne). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Gilbert J. Spooner may be made to Hospice of the North Country.
