He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell, Sr. Whisher and Laverna Whisher (Wright); his siblings, Russell Whisher, Jr. and Lynn Whisher; and his parents-in-law, John and Evelyn Dockum.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Whisher of AuSable Forks; his son Jason; his daughter-in-law Amanda Whisher (Hart) of AuSable Forks; his grandchildren, Jaycee and Alex Whisher; and his siblings, Kathy Frenia (Gary) of Peasleeville, Karen Richards (Jim) of Citrus Springs, Florida, Debbie Durgan (Bob "Dinger") of Peru, Sue Rosio (Ron) of Citrus Spring, Florida, Melissa Whisher of AuSable Forks and Chris Whisher of AuSable Forks. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center.
