He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Mason and Barbara Mason (Gilbo); and his daughter Shannon Mason. He is survived by: his son Dennis; his daughter-in-law Kim Mason of Peru; his grandson Alex Mason of Peru; his siblings, Patty Meyers (Barney) of West Leyden, NY and Robert, Jr. Mason (Kim) of Peru; his nephews, Robert Mason, III and Timothy Jamson; and his niece Rebecca Myers.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home (294 Mannix Rd, Peru, NY 12972). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 6:10 PM at the same location.
