She was predeceased by: her parents, Leeward, Sr. Hemingway and Genevieve Hemingway (Matott); and her siblings, Jimmy, Orville, Leeward Hemingway, Theresa Seater, Hazel Hemingway and Barbara Hoover.
She is survived by: her husband Samuel Duval of Peru; her son Samuel Duval (Michelle "Shelly" Cook) of Peru Amanda; her grandchildren, Kyle Duval, Cyera Desotell, Rachel Desotell, Kennady Duval and Emmalin Duval; her great grandchild Kazlin Duval; her siblings, Carolyn Bouchard (George), Linda Croft (Joseph Coupal), Kathy Lapier (David), Robin Collins, Wanita Duprey, Gerald Hemingway, Richard Hemingway (Shirley), David Hemingway (Barbara) and Chester Hemingway (Danielle); her sisters-in-law, Janet Hemingway and Cindy Hemingway; and her cousin Tommy Hemingway (Terri).
Donations in her memory may be made to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center in Plattsburgh.
