Constance Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Constance Smith (Peru, New York), who passed away on January 27, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Constance is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Constance's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bytner and Marion Bytner (Choleva); her husband Thomas Clinton Smith; her daughter Michele Marie Sawdey; and her grandson Christopher Jon Ransone.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon (Peter Buza) of Renton, Washington, Thomas Patrick Smith of York, Pennsylvania and Sheila (Thomas Taylor) of Keeseville; and her granddaughter Stephanie (Timothy Appleton) of Woodbury, Vermont.
