Bill Fornecker Obituary
In loving memory of Bill Fornecker of Peru, New York, who departed this world on February 25, 2025 at the age of 75. Bill leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Fornecker and Barbara Fornecker (Novotony); his brothers, Charles Fornecker (Mary), Raymond Fornecker (Julie) and Andrew Fornecker (Trudy); and his parents-in-law, George and Louise Darrah.
He is survived by: his daughter Kellie Kathleen (Adlai Favreau); his wife Kathleen Marie Darrah; his granddaughters, Megan and Olivia Lathrop; his stepgranddaughter McKeinzie Leikert (Crystfer); and his great grandchild Nora Leikert. He is also survived by brother-in-law and sister-in-law; several nieces and nephews; and several close family friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Augustine's Church (3035 N Main St, Peru, NY 12972). A Mass will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Augustine's Cemetery (3035 N Main St, Peru, NY 12972).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's name to North Country Honor Flight, Hospice of the North Country, or the Peru Rescue Squad.
