He was predeceased by: his parents, John Torrey and Frances Persell Torrey; and his siblings, Robert Torrey and Betty Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Frazier Torrey; his sons, Mark Torrey (Katrina) of Hilton, John Torrey (Stacey) of Maui and Michael Russell of Alexander; his grandchildren, Kameron of Hilton, Kyle Torrey of Hilton, Carson Torrey of Maui, Amanda of Buffalo, Ashley of Buffalo, Ariel Russell of Buffalo and Michael Russel, Jr. of Alexander; his sister Carolyn Waldrop of South Bend, IN; and his sister-in-law Audrey Connell of Almond. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
