He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Bernard and Roberta Bernard (Bates); his wife Judith A. Bernard; his son Bruce; and his siblings, Marilyn, Norman and Donald.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila Boyd (Nathaniel) of Caledonia and Douglas Bernard (Barb) of Conesus; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Bernard of Perry; and his sister Bonnie Huff (Melvin) of Perry. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
