Russell Hunkins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2021, at the age of 89, Russell Hunkins of Pennellville, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell G. Hunkins and Frances Hunkins (LaChausse); his close friend Sharon Lee Washer; his brothers, Donald Hunkins and Ernest "Micky" Hunkins; his daughter Sherri Imhof; and his former wife Barbara Hunkins (Bower).
He is survived by: his children, Terry R. Hunkins, Robert A. Hunkins and Robin L. Grant; and his brother Robert Hunkins. He is also survived by great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was also a life member of the Foundation for North American Wild Sheep and had just one harvest left to fulfil his Grand Slam; as the Dall, Stone, and Rocky Mountain Sheep fell, only the Desert Bighorn remained.
