With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William F. Allerton of Penn Yan, New York, who passed away on February 9, 2025 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William F. Allerton to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger M. Allerton Sr. and Agnes Allerton (Huxley); his wife Jane Allerton; his brother Roger Allerton Jr.; and his brother-in-law Jack M. Derby.
He is survived by: his son W. David Allerton (Mary Anne) of Mendon; his grandchildren, Lisa Fauber of Rochester and Brian Allerton (Kristina) of Henrietta; his stepgranddaughter Katie Shanken of Rochester; his great grandchildren, Heather, Sterling Fauber, Isla and Violet Allerton; and his friend Julie Case.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Penn Yan United Methodist Church (155 Main St, Penn Yan, NY 14527).
