She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Kirk and Ethel Kirk. She is survived by: her husband Dick Wolverton; her children, Brian Wolverton (Maura) of Rock Stream, NY, Carol Johnston (Scott) of Jacksonville, NC and Janice "Jan" Taylor (Jeff) of Cary, NC; and her grandchildren, Aaron Johnston (Cecily Meade), Rachel Brader (Tom), Rebekah Johnston (David Helfand), Renee Wolverton (Evan Earle) and Jessica Taylor.
