She was predeceased by: her husband Benny Fulkrod; her brother Gerald Bunn; and her stepfather Zora King. She is survived by: her children, Ruth Hamm, Benny Fulkrod Jr. and Tina Dailey (Doug); her grandchildren, Annmarie Ormsby, Amanda Martinez (Ryan), Allison Babiack (Nicholas), Joseph Casterline (Christina), Benjamin Fulkrod, Nicolas Fulkrod, Caleb Fulkrod and Ahren Albee; and her siblings, Betty Oliver (Dave) and Richard Bunn (Beverly) of Virginia. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
