Mary Burris Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Burris of Penn Yan, New York, who passed away on December 25, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Parkes and Elizabeth "Libby" Parkes (Greene); her husband William J. Burris; her son James Lawrence Burris; her brother Paul Parkes; her sons-in-law, Stephen O. Chase and Peter Paul Yastremski, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Mary Alice Burris.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Yastremski, William J. Burris II (Annie), Elizabeth Burris-Chase and Charles Burris (Mary Kay); and her foster daughter Linda Brugge. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, three foster grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and four foster great-grandchildren.
