He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hunter and Susan Hunter (Maxwell); and his stepmother Muriel (Stewart). He is survived by: his wife Linda (Pike); his sister Jean L. White (E. Herbert Jr.); his brother-in-law Rev. Thomas F. Pike (Lys McLaughlin); his nephews, Robert Hunter (Stacey Ryczak), David Thomas (Jeanne Chon), Andrew Thomas (Brennan Kearney) and Bradley Thomas (Pamela Maki); his grandchildren, Evan, Russell Hunter, Emily, Owen, Ruth Thomas, Ethan, Gavin, Willem Thomas, Samuel, Elizabeth Thomas, McCready and Hallman Kearney; his niece Susan A. White; his nephew E. Herbert White III (Louise Cath); and his great-nieces, Rosalie and Katelyn.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Episcopal Church (179 Main St, Penn Yan, NY 14527).
