With solemn reverence, we commemorate James Covell of Penn Yan, New York, whose life came to an end on April 3, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Covell Sr. and Anna M. Covell (Whitehead); his daughter Kimberly Anne Fultz; his son-in-law Frederick M. Fultz; his granddaughter Amanda N. Fultz; and his sisters, Nancy June and Mary Covell.
He is survived by: his son J. J.; his daughter-in-law Lynne Covell; his grandchildren, Amber Hampton (Brandon), Ashley Drennen (Shaun), Samantha Barron (Gordon) and Jessica Covell; his great grandchildren, Shaun, Alexander, Kaydence, Breanne, Emery, Arianna, Kinsley and Maisie; his cousin Marylee Welch (Joe); and his close friend Brian Iddings (Amy).
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Weldon Funeral Home (102 E Main St, Penn Yan, NY 14527). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the City Hill Cemetery (545 City Hill Rd, Penn Yan, NY 14527).
