He was predeceased by: his son James Hayes; and his brothers, Donald and Barry Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Rose; his son Robert Hayes (Katrina) of Penn Yan; his daughter-in-law Amanda Hayes; his brothers, Randy Hayes and Roger Hayes; and his grandchildren, Lyam, Lillyann, Rebecca and Damion Hayes.
