Dorothy G. Crans Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy G. Crans of Penn Yan, New York, who passed away on February 27, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Snyder and Dorothy May Snyder (Burliegh); her son Gary Crans; and her granddaughter Brenda Crans. She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy J. Mortensen (John Fontana), Shirley E. Templar (Roger) of Davenport, FL and Beverly S. Sample; her grandchildren, Christina Houck (Glenn) of Ohio, Tammy Hurley (Steve) of Ohio, David Crans (Deena) of Georgia, Nicole Cremona (Dominic) of Ohio and Ray Sample (Melissa) of Indiana; and her friend Don Mortensen. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
