She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Carson and Robert L. Hoffman; and her brother Robert C. Hoffman. She is survived by: her husband William V. Gelder; her children, Amy Gelder of Penn Yan and W. Evan Gelder of Rochester; her sisters-in-law, Sheryl Parkhurst, Laurel Skellett (Bill) and Susan Hoffman; her nieces, Caitlin Hickcox (Brady) and Lindsay Hoffman; and her pet Milo.
