He was predeceased by: his grandfather Howard Blauvelt; his uncles, David Blauvelt, Ernie Callaway and James O'Brien; and his niece J. C. Darcy.

He is survived by: his children, Alexamae Blauvelt and Remington Blauvelt; his parents, Chris Blauvelt and Sharon Blauvelt of Penn Yan; his sisters, Tracey Darcy (Paul) of Dundee, Nichole Richardson (Nathan Ames) of Penn Yan and Keri Blauvelt (Patrick Johnson) of Penn Yan; and his grandmother Natalie Blauvelt of Penn Yan.
