He is survived by: his children, Ryan Hoose (Jess) of Penn Yan, Jeff McClain (Mary) of Penn Yan and Shannon Darcy of Penn Yan; his mother Frances Groom; and his siblings, Shannon Hoose of Dundee, Tonya Burleigh of Penn Yan, Melissa Burleigh of Penn Yan, Katie Burleigh of Penn Yan, Ashley Hoose of Penn Yan, Natasha Cummings, Shawn Hoose (Jessica) of Penn Yan and Brandon (Linda Hoose). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
