Teresa Lehr Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2020, Teresa Lehr of Penfield, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Kerwin and Teresa Kerwin; and her brother Donald, Jr.. She is survived by: her brother Richard Kerwin; her children, Carol, Margaret Lehr and Matthew Lehr; her granddaughter Greta; her sister-in-law Annabelle Kerwin; and her nieces and nephews, Ann Kolakowski (Paul), Teresa Mezil, Mary Reed (Alvin), Ruth Varner (William), Donald Kerwin (Heidi) and Peter Kerwin (Holly).
She was an avid local history researcher and writer who wrote organizational histories for Christ Church, the Rochester Academy of Medicine, Rochester General Hospital, and St. John's Home; fictional histories involving the Eastman Dental Dispensary and the 1918 influenza pandemic's effects on Rochester; and an edited collection of a Civil War officer's letters back home to his wife.
