He is survived by: his mother Lynn Rivers; his stepfather Tom Derion; his sister Erica Rivers; his children, Kelsi and Kaden Rivers (Nikki Rivers); his wife Margaret; his stepchildren, Livy, Westin and Sunny; his grandfather Don Macdonald; and his family Penfield. He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, financial contributions can be made to trusts for the children.
