He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Bliss and Russell Bliss. He is survived by: his wife Helena; his stepdaughter Melissa Roddie (Scott); and his siblings, Carin Kujawski (Jim), Jerry Bliss (Chris) and Jim Bliss (Penny). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to McLeod Seacoast Hospice.
