He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth. He is survived by: his children, Claudia Barnum DeCann, Christina K. Barnum, Matthew and Luke Barnum; his grandchildren, Maxwell Wilfeard and Hanna Hecht; his sister Mary Barnum; and his friends, Bill Emerson, Jim Allis, Paul LaBombard and Orie Rothfuss.
