With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary S. Gilman (Penfield, New York), born in Dalton, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 10, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul B. Gilman; her parents, Mary Catherine and Edmond Frances Shea; her brother-in-law David Wones; her nieces, Kristen and Dorothea Delaney; and her great grandchild Celia D. Furman.
She is survived by: her caregiver Mary L. Gilman; her godson Peter Gilman; her children, Mary L. Gilman, Jeanne (Joseph Peters), James and Scott Gilman (Michele); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Gregory O'Rourke), Peter, Ciara, Shannon, Shea Gilman, Patrick Furman and Luke Peters; her great grandchildren, Katharine, Gabriella, Cynthia, Violette, Patrick, Jr., Kazhal Furman, Gwynn, Riley, Ellie O'Rourke, Bentley Gilman and Willow Kostiw; her sisters, Marge (Robert Delaney) and Cathy (Richard LaPointe); and her sister-in-law Connie G. Wones. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
