He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore "Bud" Jr. and Ruth Ostberg. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Christina Thompson (James) and Eric Ostberg (Kandee Jo); his brother Jack Ostberg (Sonja Dove); his brother-in-law Charles Bratt (Bonnie); and his granddaughters, Mia, Lilian, Lucy and Lola.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rochester Christian School Foundation, 260 Embury Rd. Rochester, NY 14625.
