With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Laura Salvo of Penfield, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 4, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Laura departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Laura may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Laura leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Jody Mayer (Joe Salvo). She is survived by: her son John Mayer of Palmyra; her grandchildren, Cory Wyman of Clifton Springs and Shae Kreager of Florida; her brother Maurie Geer of Palmyra; her niece Lori Brassi (Rick) of Farmington; her nephew Danny Geer (Stephany) of Victor; and her caregiver Debbie Brooks of Penfield.
In lieu of flowers, Laura's wish was for donations to be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to a charity of your choice.
