Hughes of Penfield, New York, born in Corning, New York, who passed away on June 30, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ward and Katherine Ward (Cowley); her brother James; and her former husband Charles Hughes, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Charles "Chip" Hughes of Jackson, MO, Julianne Hughes (Brian Bertino) of Berkeley, CA, Elizabeth Boice of Rochester, NY and Jennifer Hughes of Berkeley, CA; her grandchildren, Sierra, Gabe Hughes, Owen and Zachary Boice; her sister Mary Claire; her brother-in-law Charles Adams of Glen Allen, VA; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Camille, Geoffrey and Nathaniel Adams; and also Leslie Michaud.
