He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Borkhuis and Frances Borkhuis; and his sister Linda Wahl. He is survived by: his wife June; his children, Ann Borkhuis (David Wingrove), Steven Borkhuis (Sandra), Carl Borkhuis (Marilyn) and Christine Reilly (Matthew); and his grandchildren, Brandon, Patrick, Dylan and Ciara Reilly.

Memorials may be directed to Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Penfield.
