He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmen Germano and Rose Germano; and his brother Joseph Germano. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, David (Chandra), Peter (Kristie), Michael (Amber) and Mary; his grandchildren, Gloria, Alessa, Charlie, Luca, Briella and Mila; his sister Joyce Kluchko (Tom); and his sister-in-law Susan Germano. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Neurology Department (Movement Disorders Division/ Parkinsons) of the University of Rochester Medical Center or St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
