He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph P. Capuano and Katherine V. Capuano; his sister Alysandra Capuano; and his nephew Joseph Adams. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; and his siblings, Dolores Amico (late Jack), Claudia Adams (Alan), Joseph Capuano (Sharlene) and Thomas Capuano (Cindy). He is also survived by twenty nieces & nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
