He was predeceased by: his mother Madeline Trafalgar; his stepfather James "Mike" Trafalgar; his father Comso Battaglia; his siblings, Jean Gross and William Buonomo; and his aunt Dolores LaPlaca.

He is survived by: his sister Paula Rogala (Glen); his sister-in-law Mary Buonomo; his nieces, Janice Gross-Deterline (Michael Deterline) and Kathy Salerni (Barb); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kim Mancuso (Dan), Lori Salerni, Scott Salerni (Jennifer) and Jeffrey Marconi.
