He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Baty; his parents, James Baty and Mary Lee Baty (Powell); and his brother James Baty (Jim). He is survived by: his sons, Robert Hayes (Dawn) and John Hayes (Debbie); his siblings, Adrian Baty (Kay) of Hankamer, TX, Ava Lee (Pete) of Rock Spring, GA and Alva Barrett of Wichita, KS; and his grandchildren, Saul and Farasha. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
