He was predeceased by: his wife JoAnn Johnston (Dietterick); his sons, Alan J. and Mark "Shorty"; and his granddaughter Carrie Bundschuh. He is survived by: his parents, James Johnston and Maud Johnston (Farquharson); his children, Jana Hodgkins and Andrew "Drew" Johnston; and his grandchildren, Heather Bundschuh, Liz, Amy Hodgkins and Matthew Johnston. He is also survived by several niece, nephews, family and friends.
