We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2023, at the age of 98, Rose Eleanor Pla of Pelham, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Guiseppe Marchini and Desolina Marchini; her son Edward Pla (Laura) of Edgartown, MA; her grandchildren, Stefan of Brooklyn, NY, Madeleine of Manhattan, NY and Nicole of Denver, CO; her husband Louis F. Pla; and her brothers, Hector and Laurence.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that you consider making a donation to the Waveny Lifecare Network in New Canaan, CT, whose kind caregivers provided Rose exceptional support in her final years.
