He was predeceased by: his wife Regina; and his brother Tully Lovisa. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Lovisa (Don Geller) of Pelham Manor and Elise M. Lovisa-Diamond (Marc Diamond) of Ardsley; and his grandchildren, Julia L. and Eric M. Diamond (Sonny Garry).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Peter's name to the Cornell University College of Engineering.
