He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vittorio Martellotti and Ludavina Martellotti (Zazzi); his wife Gloria; his daughters, Donna (Leonard Ferrara) and JoAnn Martellotti; and his granddaughter Brittany McHugh. He was also cherished by other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers family has asked for donations in Mauro's name be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. of Westchester.
