We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2025, at the age of 87, Barbara Cathone of Pelham, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Suchy and Anne Suchy; her husband Anthony Cathone; her sister Mary Lou Allison; and her son-in-law John Ortiz.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Ortiz, Peter Cathone, Matthew Cathone (Alyce), John Cathone (Paula), Julie Cathone (Sue Penza) and Christopher Cathone (Kelly); her grandchildren, Joanna Phillipy (Matthew), Melissa Cathone, Sarah Cathone, Kathryn Ortiz, Dominick Ortiz, Nicholas Cathone and Madelyn Cathone; and her siblings, Arlene Munsell and Peter Suchy.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Family Church (83 Clove Rd, New Rochelle, NY 10801). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Mount Hope Cemetery (50 Jackson Ave, Hastings-On-Hudson, NY 10706).
