He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Peekskill; his wife Susan K Poritzky; his sons, David (late Audrey), Eric (Stacy) and Dan Poritzky (Alison); and his granddaughters, Sophie, Maiya, Emma, Maddie, Lyla and Natalie Poritzky.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sandy's name may be sent to Peekskill High School Scholarship Fund, the First Hebrew Congregation of Peekskill, or a charity of your choice.
